This was when he was admitted to Parkland Hospital. A portion of his skull had to be removed to reduce the brain swelling where he was beaten.

I left a teddy bear for him to cuddle with but he was incoherent.

Later he was transfered to a hospice care place. He was awake but couldn't talk and his hands had motor nerve problems.
